On the southwest coast of the Krk island is situated the homonymous town – Krk. With its position the town it’s an ideal start point for explore the whole island. This town is the biggest administrative, political, economic and cultural centre of the island.

From the central part of the town there is a promenade that offers a wide range of restaurants with sea view and it’s ideal for take a walk in the evening. From the crowded harbour of the town are departing trip boats that drive the guests on the trip on Plavnik Island, St. Gregory and in the Old Baska town.

On the left and on the right of the old town are situated sandy, gravel and rocky beaches.

For the visitors that love sports the town of Krk offers many recreational contents on sea and on the main land, but of especially interesting are the cycling tour trips which allow the guests to discover the island and its marvellous landscapes.
